Coincidentally (or not?), a stroll takes us to 2008, to this small hamlet in Hautes Papinières. It’s our favorite! Since 2011, we welcome you to this old borderie, in simplicity, conviviality and kindness.
All year round, we open our doors to you for your solo, duo, family stays or between friends. In this corner of greenery and calm, everything has been thought of for the comfort of our travelers. Our range of services, as well as our different hosting solutions, will meet all your needs!

What is a borderie?
In the 18th century, it was a modest farm located in the village and which lived, almost self-sufficiently, from working the land with bare hands, and animal breeding. You will appreciate its simple architecture: small opening in wood and local stones, and roofing in “boot stem” tiles.
Each space proudly represents the past of this iconic building.
An ideal situation
Our home is located 20 minutes from Puy du Fou, in the countryside of the village of Saint-Prouant. You will be quiet, in an exotic place, but in a central position between the largest cities in the region: Nantes, La Rochelle, Angers. Recharge your batteries in this enchanting place, in the heart of nature, where our charming guest house has taken up residence.
The authenticity of the place
Our guest house with swimming pool near Puy du Fou has kept its rural atmosphere. Its past, its history and its authenticity have not been tainted. You will enjoy resting in your room, spending a pleasant time by the swimming pool, strolling in the wooded garden, where several terraces are available, each with their own charm.

On sunny days, take advantage of our beautiful 2,000 m² wooded area. You will enjoy sitting in the shade of a large ash tree, on the garden furniture or on the terrace around the pool. The beautiful seasonal swimming pool
To cool off from April to September, we provide you with a swimming poolof 10x5 meters and 1.60 meters of depth, to the maximum. The swimming pool offers a bench, very practical for sitting.
All around our pleasant swimming pool, you will find sun loungers and parasols, to enjoy the generous Vendean sun. Not heated but very well exposed all day.
Conviviality at the rendezvous
The conviviality, the sport and the game are not left out for sharing a moment with family or friends. Thus, you will have access to a pétanque court, a large basketball hoop, football cages, a cabin with slide and sandboxes, and many other outdoor games such as mölkky, palets Vendéens, …
Breakfast
Between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m., we offer a local breakfast, which will be served to you in the dedicated room. Take the time to savor this first taste pleasure of the day, with: homemade bread, jams and cakes, dairy products, compotes, seasonal fruits, hot drinks, orange juice, without forgetting the traditional Brioche Vendéenne!
